Delegation from South America to examine the Administration of Justice in the U.S.

The Northern Nevada International Center will be hosting a delegation of 14 judges, attorneys and other officials and 3 interpreters from South America on January 30, 2010 to February 2, 2010. The delegation was invited to Reno as part of the International Visitors Leadership Program of the US Department of State.
The group is visiting Reno to examine the underlying principles of the U.S. judicial and legal systems and the culture of lawfulness in the United States; to deepen understanding of civil and criminal justice systems in the United States. While in Reno, they will particularly learn about alternative pathways to justice.
