The Northern Nevada International Center will be hosting a delegation of 1 professor and 1 interpreter from Japan on September 26, 2009 to September 30, 2009. The delegation was invited to Reno as part of the International Visitors Leadership Program of the US Department of State.

The delegation is visiting Reno to observe the different types of programs and interventions used to respond to a wide range of challenges and issues including behavior problems, juvenile delinquency, bullying and violence. They will also observe programs that focus on special education, sexual health and school improvement, as well as training programs for social services workers and school guidance counselors.
