The Northern Nevada International Center will be hosting a multi-regional delegation  on July 25-29, 2009. The delegation was invited to Reno as part of the International Visitors Leadership Program of the US Department of State.

The Reno portion of their program will be focused upon:

• To review the history, structure, practices, and future of television broadcast journalism in the U.S.;
• To examine how television both influences and reflects American society; and
• To explore the current and potential contributions of television broadcasting to the formation of an informed citizenry within a diverse, democratic, decentralized society.
