Delegation from Iraq to study Water Resources Management

The Northern Nevada International Center will be hosting a 9 delegates and 3 interpreters, from Iraq on May 14-20, 2009. The delegation was invited to Reno as part of the International Visitors Leadership Program of the US Department of State.
The Reno portion of their program will be focused upon:
- Examine Water resource management techniques at the local, state and federal levels.
- Examine innovative practices in water conservation, purification, and reclamation.
- Discuss and observe the latest developments in water scarcity solutions.
- Examine cooperative efforts across state and international boundaries.
