The Northern Nevada International Center will be hosting a delegate, Inspector from Commission Against Corruption from Macau on March 25-28, 2009. The delegation was invited to Reno as part of the International Visitors Leadership Program of the US Department of State.

The Reno portion of their program will be focused upon:

  • Learning more about the range of activities and methodology of those who engage in white collar crimes, including embezzlement, public corruption and money laundering,
  • Exploring the importance of sharing intelligence and information among agencies, as well as the structures set up to promote this process.
  • Learning  about gaming regulation and the efforts of combating money laundering and cyber crimes.
