Delegate from Italy of the Legislative Counsel

Aug 29 - Sep 3 2008. Dr. Vito Cozzoli, Chief Counsel to Italy’s Camera dei Deputati (Italian Parliament), traveled to Reno to meet with state officials to discuss state and tribal court systems. According to Dr. Cozzoli Italy is considering expanding the powers of the regional authorities similar to our states under our form of federalism. Dr. Cozzoli attended sessions at the National Judicial College and met with officials from the Nevada Attorney Generals Office and the Nevada Supreme Court. He was also presented with a certificate commemorating his visit to Nevada by First lady, Dawn Gibbons.
