[ January 23rd, 2010 to January 27th, 2010. ] A delegation of Family Law Judges from Slovenia visited Reno, in January 2010, to study the US Family Court System.

[ February 13th, 2010 to February 17th, 2010. ] Mr. Andreas Holzer, Deputy Head of the Drug-Related Crime Department, Criminal Intelligence Service, Ministry of Interior, Austria will be coming to Reno, Nevada February 13-17th to discuss how to prosecute perpetrators of narcotics trafficking and money laundering.

[ February 3rd, 2010 to February 6th, 2010. ] The Northern Nevada International Center will be hosting a group of 25 Foreign Service Nationals from all over the world on February 3, 2010 to February 6, 2010 as a part of a program from the Foreign Service Institute of the U.S. State Department.

The Northern Nevada International Center (NNIC) was awarded a grant in the amount of $352,000 by the US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to host 25 South African entrepreneurs over a two-year period. NNIC, which is a sponsored project of the University of Nevada, Reno, will collaborate with Sierra Nevada College (SNC) to provide internships for two sets of 12 to 13 young entrepreneurs.

[ January 30th, 2010 to February 2nd, 2010. ] The Northern Nevada International Center will be hosting a delegation of 14 judges, attorneys and other officials and 3 interpreters from South America on January 30, 2010 to February 2, 2010.

The Truckee Meadows Community College is pleased to announce a special class on World Religions. Topics discussed include: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, Baha’ism, Confucianism, Jainism, Shintoism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, Native American Spirituality, and Atheism.
